Where students investigate unique topics of personal interest.
The Personal Project (PP) involves exploration by underclassmen to develop research skills and a passion for learning. This is highly creative, engaging work. The Personal Project can be an activity (e.g., playing a new instrument, tap dancing), an event (e.g., hosting a fundraiser, coaching a competition), or a tangible product (e.g., making a ukulele, developing a new salsa). Personal Project Supervisors provide oversight, keeping our young learners on track as they explore a wide arena of interests, develop a process journal, create an actual project, and submit a reflective report on their fascinating findings.
Further insight on the Personal Project can be obtained from our designated PP Coordinator, Mr. Matt Klansky: klanskml@milwaukee.k12.wi.us
