Reagan High School offers students diverse opportunities to explore apprenticeships and career pathways throughout their enrollment. To learn more about these programs, students are encouraged to consult with a school counselor, the IB coordinator, or the CACC staff.

Bricklayering Apprenticeship www.bacwi.org Bricklayers lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone and other similar materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys, fireplaces and other structures in accordance with blueprints and specifications. You could be installing firebrick in commercial and industrial furnaces and incinerators. Carpentry Apprenticeship www.sewctc.org The main duty of the apprentice carpenter is to help a carpenter or a group of carpenters with tasks, such as removing debris from construction areas or retrieving tools for the other carpenters. The apprentice carpenter spends most of his time watching and listening to the licensed carpenters so he can learn as much about this skilled trade as possible. Cement Masonry Apprenticeship

Cement masons finish the exposed concrete surfaces on many types of construction projects from finishing patios, floors and sidewalks to work on dams, concrete highways and airport runways. Construction Craft Laborer Apprenticeship wilaborers.org Construction craft laborers perform a wide range of non-special trade construction work including semi-skilled and unskilled tasks. Work performed is often physical and manual in nature, such as digging, loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, lugging, tending, stockpiling, sweeping and cleaning. Laborers are employed in all areas of construction, including commercial and residential new building; highway, bridge, tunnel, and shaft construction; large industrial and environmental restoration projects; and various restoration and demolition jobs. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Have reliable transport to job site  
Glazer Apprenticship Glaziers are responsible for selecting, cutting, installing, replacing and removing all types of glass. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license  
Roofing & Water Proofing Apprenticeship Roofing and Waterproofing involves installing water-tight roof systems on new or existing roofs. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license, 3 years of documented roofing experience  
Iron Worker Apprenticeship The work includes the unloading, erecting, bolting, and welding of steel members that form the framework of structures; such as: bridges, industrial and commercial buildings, sports stadiums, and large residential buildings. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license or Reliable transport, OSHA 10

Heat & Frost Insulation Apprenticeship Heat and Frost Insulators specialize in the installation and maintenance of insulation systems, for the conservation of energy and the control of the environment in buildings and premises requiring temperature control, heat transfer, sound barriers, fire protection, fire stopping, and asbestos abatement. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license  
Sprinkler Fitter Apprencticeship  Sprinklerfitters install automatic fire sprinkler systems in new and existing buildings in all types of construction, mostly commercial, using valves, hangers, steel and plastic pipe. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license, Mechnical Apptitude Test  
Plumbing Apprenticeship Plumbers design, install, repair and maintain piping systems such as soil, waste, vent, potable water, wastewater treatment, gas systems (medical, propane, and natural) in residential, commercial, industrial buildings and at utility sites. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license  
Operating Engineer Apprenticeship operates industrial machinery and equipment that provides energy in various forms 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass Accuplacer, ACT or Ramsey Test, Valid Driver's license, attend Information Session and Orientation  
Sheet Metal Worker Apprenticeship The Sheet Metal trade is one of the most varied of all the skilled trades. The majority of sheet metal workers are employed in the heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning industry (HVAC), where they fabricate, install, and maintain HVAC systems. Many other sheet metal workers are employed in specialty areas; such as, kitchen equipment, sign work, sheet metal decking and siding, metal roofing and siding, heavy metal work, welding, industrial ventilation systems, ornamental and decorative sheet metal, and architectural work; such as, copper work, rain protection systems, and skylights. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license  
Tile Setter Apprenticeship Tile setters examine blueprints, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, and lay out work. They measure and cut metal lath to size for walls and ceilings with tin snips. They tack lath to wall and ceiling surfaces with staple gun or hammer and spread plaster base over lath with trowel. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license  
Steamfitter Apprenticeship Painters apply paint, stain, varnish and other finishes to buildings and other structures. They select the right paint or finish for the surface to be covered, taking into account durability, ease of handling, method of application and customer's wishes. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Pass accuplacer test, Valid Driver's license  
Boilermaker Apprenticeship Boilermakers perform erection, repair and maintenance of hydroelectric, fossil and nuclear power plants, oil refineries, chemical plants, paper mills and steel mills. Their skills include boiler manufacturing and fabricating, steel plate and structural steel fabrication, pressure vessel and tank fabrication, highway construction equipment manufacturing, oil field equipment manufacturing and other metal fabrication. 18 years old, High School Diploma, Valid Driver's license
