Illness is a part of everyone's life. Not certain if your teen should attend?
We deeply appreciate your commitment to your teen’s education here at Reagan High School. While we always stress the importance of good student attendance, caution is advised as illness continues to flourish in our hallways.
If your teen exhibits any of these symptoms, please keep them at home all day:
Fever of 100.4 F or above
Vomiting
Uncontrollable diarrhea
Stomach ache
Rashes of unknown origin
Headache
Sore throat
Muscle ache or weakness
Sending a teen to school, even for one class, will expose other students and continue the spread of illness.
If your child is sick, please follow the excused absence procedures below:
A parent or guardian reports their child’s absence due to illness to the Reagan Main Office (414-304-6100).
If the student is well enough to complete school work, they can log into Google Classroom and complete work posted by their teachers.
If no classwork is posted on Google Classroom, please email your teachers. Staff emails can be found on the Reagan website.
The student completes this Google Form reporting what school work was completed during their absence.
Students who have completed work during their illness will have their attendance updated to “Unable to Attend Due to Illness” in Infinite Campus.
Students who are absent due to COVID will have their attendance updated to PEBT in Infinite Campus. This is important for families who receive funding through PEBT.
When your teen returns to campus, remember to send a note/doctor's excuse to the Main Office for the absence to be noted as "Excused."
